An organization which has recently become increasingly influential. The Ohm Bastion serves as the Anti-Evil vanguard of the Ohm Basin, and swears to defeat evil at all costs. Members must be any good alignment or lawful neutral.

Under the leadership of Keyleth, the Ohm Bastion established an armed force to enforce Good and Law in and around Barrow's Maw. Unlike the Barrow's Maw government, the Bastion is happy to carry out justice— or their version thereof— on those who commit murder, banditry, or other wanton crimes outside of Barrow's Maw proper¹⁾.

Less murder-inclined adventurers will sometimes submit surrendering enemies to the Bastion for trial and either community service, imprisonment, or summary execution.

The Bastion has so far kept its influence light, but has declared certain enemies— chiefly the Wretched Crawler, the bandits²⁾ of Mesa Sfaria, and Nestor the Weapons Capsule Salesman, for various offenses.

The Bastion has made no moves to date against the latter two enemies³⁾, but have openly attacked the Wretched Crawler's fort and tacitly sponsored an expedition to permanently destroy the Wretched Crawler. As the Crawler is a lich, they have so far not succeeded.

Applicants to the Ohm Bastion must affirm their commitment to the Rule. It is unknown who implemented the Rule, when they did so, or why they expected any of the son-of-a-murderhobo adventurers who frequent the Basin to agree to it.

1. We speak to any who desire a pure heart to serve the holy powers as a Friend, and who desire to wear the noble armaments of obedience. We beseech you, who until now have led the lives of secular knights, to follow those whom the Gods have chosen from the mass of perdition and whom they have ordered through their gracious mercy to defend the Ohm Basin.
2. Any who would be a Friend, choosing such a holy order, must unite true diligence and unwavering perseverence. This is an order of true knights, who despise the love of so-called justice that upholds duty rather than virtue, that defends the rich and powerful rather than the poor, the widows, the orphans, and the churches. The Gods work well through us; they have sent Friends from their temples in the petty kingdoms, Yakami Island, and many other lands to do their good work in the Basin.
3. You who renounce your own wills, the Gods are with you. If you promise to despise the deceitful world and instead stay in perpetual love of the Gods, you shall not fear to go into battle, for you shall know your reward.
4. If any secular knight, or any other person, wishes to leave the mass of perdition and abandon that secular life and choose our communal life, we shall not receive them immediately. Instead, this Rule shall be read to them, and if they wish to obey the commandments of the Rule, and if it pleases the Friendmaker and Friends to receive them, let the supplicant reveal their desire before all the Friends assembled and make their request in pure heart.
5. Under no circumstances should a Friend associate with an obviously-evil individual. We prohibit this strongly because the agents of the dark powers often deceive even the most virtuous to advance their ignoble cause, which can lead to a Friend falling from grace.
6. Although many sects and orders allow the receiving of children into a religious life, all Friends and servants of the Ohm Bastion must be adults. For they who wish to give their children eternally to the order of knighthood should bring them up until such time as the children are able to bear arms with vigour, and rid the land of the enemies of the holy powers. Then let the parents lead the child to the Bastion and make the child's request known to the Friends. It is much better if they do not make their vows when they are children, but when they are older, and it is better if they do not regret it han if they regret it.
7. While the Bastion is a religious order, it is a religious order of many faiths, and so Friends should not force their beliefs on others, nor should they make a spectacle of their worship. Our Gods hear us just as well praying at our bedside as they do praying at the temple.
8. If any Friend, in speaking or soldiering, or in any other way commits a slight sin, they themself should willingly make known their fault to the Friendmaker, to make amends with a pure heart. And if they do not usually fail in this way, they shall be given light penance. But if their fault is serious they shall be confined alone drinking only water and eating only bread until they have atoned for their sin.
9. We shall ensure that no Friend, powerful or not powerful, strong or weak, who wishes to promote themself gradually and become proud and defend their crime, remains unpunished. But if they do not wish to atone for it they shall be given harsher punishment. And if they do not wish to make amends, but wish to boast more and more of it, they shall be uprooted from the Bastion.
10. Aging and weak Friends shall be honored with diligence and given consideration according to their frailty; and, kept well by the authority of the Rule in those things which are necessary to their physical welfare, should in no way be in distress.
